Nursery
Pilgrim United Church of Christ offer child care in the Nursery during our
morning worship time. The nursery is located in Room One, just inside the
Second Street entrance. This room is equipped for babies, newborn
through approximately three years of age. There are age-appropriate toys,
changing table and a crib. Toys and crib sheets are cleaned regularly. We
provide diapers and wipes for your convenience. Our child- care givers are
experienced adults—often parents and grandparents themselves. Our
youth assistants are also carefully chosen and some of them have taken
Red Cross child care training.
If a baby or toddler has positive experiences at church, he/she develops
positive attitudes, such as “church is a happy place,” “I am wanted at
church,” and “my teachers/care-givers love me—Jesus loves me, too.”
