Mission Trip
Pilgrim UCC recently had a mission trip on June 14-22 to
Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi. Back Bay is a
community ministry of the United Church of Christ serving
the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the wider church community
by faithful witness for social justice and compassionate
service to the poor and marginalized. We were primarily
involved in the rebuilding process from the devastation left
by hurricane Katrina. There was work. . . fun. . .
fellowship. . .the reward of service to others. . . being God’s
hands and feet in the world. To see pictures of the last

Acme Register tapes yielded $86.95 and which helped support the
mission trip to Bay Bay Mission, Biloxi, MI. Thanks you for your
support in this project.
Youth Flamingo Fundraiser
Flamingo's were put in your yards with the following message:
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEEN FLAMINGOED
These flamingoes are a fundraiser for our mission trip to Back Bay
Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi in June, 2008.
You can help send us on this mission by:
1. Donating $10.00 to make these flamingoes go away. (BUT. . . they
might come back!)
2. Donating $20.00 and designating their next destination—your best
friend? favorite relative? (BUT. . .they might come back)
3. Donating $30.00, to purchase “Flamingo Insurance”, send them to
a place of your choosing, (AND. . . they will not return!)

flamingoes. Make checks payable to Pilgrim United Church of Christ,
with 2008 Mission Fund on the memo line.
