Purpose
The purpose of this church is to bind together followers of Jesus Christ in
order that all persons may:
Grow in relation to God
Develop trustful and responsible relations with others, and
Become whole persons.
Covenant
Believing in Jesus Christ, the interpreter of God to us, we accept His
teachings as the guiding principles of our lives and consecrate ourselves
and our church to their fulfillment. We, therefore, join and covenant, one
with another, to worship, learn, and serve together, that we may express
through our Church and our individual lives the love and faith taught by
Jesus Christ.
Polity
This church is a basic unit of The United Church of Christ and has ratified its
1959 Constitution. While this church is self-governing, it accepts the
obligations of mutual counsel and cooperation involved in the free fellowship
of the United Church of Christ.
