Trinity Sunday - May 30th
You're invited by our L.I.G.H.T. Sunday School kids to a Trinity Sunday
celebration where special refreshments will be served during coffee hour after
church!
Graduation Sunday - June 6th
If you're graduating from high school, college, graduate school or a trade
school, please let us know. A short bio is appreciated--where, when, what's
next. We will publish all graduate information in a June issue of the Spire. Our
high school grads will be recognized in worship and a reception after church. If
you're graduating from high school and would like to be included in this
recognition, please call the church office and let us know.
Pilgrim Youth Event!
We're heading to Laser Quest! (80 Brookmont Dr., Akron, OH) Gather in the
parking lot promptly at 6:20 p.m. on Friday, June 4th for evening full of laser-
blast fun! You'll need to have a permission slip signed by your parents and a
medical form if you don't already have one on file. Bring a snack or dessert to
share. The cost to bring a guest is $8. RSVP with Jo Green at (330) 945-
4166 TODAY!
Prayer Around the Rose Garden - Wednesday, June 9th, 7:00 p.m.
Join us for a special prayer service event that will focus on our family and
community. Enjoy the beauty of the rose garden accompanied by meditation
and special music. The evening will conclude with refreshments and fellowship
in the garden.

Place an order for dine-in or take-out from 5-8pm at Donatos on State Rd.
(not applicable for deliver orders). Be sure to mention that you are a Pilgrim
and Donatos will donate a portion of your purchase to the church.

Every Penny Counts: Just like the widow with her penny, young or old, we all
have an opportunity to help pay down the deficit this year. In addition to
making a contribution using the enclosed pink envelope, you can make a
change to the deficit with your change! Through the end of the year, you are
invited to bring in your change (loose or rolled) to fill
the church social hall. Each week the change will be counted and added to the
operating fund. For those who are able, you may consider matching funds
either for a specific week or for the rest of the season.
New Fundraiser!!!
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". Members of the church
purchase gift cards for various merchants and the church gets a percentage of
the cost. For example, you purchase a gift card for Giant Eagle for $100 and
the church gets 4% of $100. You spend $100 and get $100 worth of groceries
and the church gets $4 for you buying the gift card from church. To place an

Youth Class meets at 9:30 am in the ATTIC.
New teachers!--new study! - "No Easy Answers: Take Two Tablets" is a
study about Christian moral decision making. All youth in grade 9-12 in grade
9 -12 are invited to come discover your own style of decision making, and how
God's word given to us through the Ten Commandments can help you in
making Christian ethical decisions.
Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
BEGINNER’S BIBLE STUDY
Join us as we gather together and discuss how God's word applies to our lives
today. This group meets weekly but breaks during different times of the year.
Check with the church office or the church calendar for meeting dates and
times.
The ADULT BELL CHOIR meets at 8pm in the bell room (next to the choir
room upstairs). If you are looking for a joyful way to express your musical
talents, please join us. We will meet every Wednesday through December.
